Short Bio
After being terminated from Wang in 1989, the software I had been developing (CDROM research system) was sold to West Publishing in St. Paul, MN and I went along with it. I've been here since then for 13 years.A few years ago, West was acquired by Thomson, a very large information distribution company. This September Jo Ann and I will be moving to Zurich for two years where Thomson Legal and Regulatory division is setting up a site. Both of our daughters, Julie and Ellen are/will be attending Tufts, back in Massachusetts, this fall. Julie is a senior and Ellen will be a freshman.
Contrary to my initial expectations, we love living in Minnesota. The people are friendly, the women good looking and the children above average. Also the cold kills off the obnoxious people. (Actually, we haven't had real cold winters for about 5 years now - thank you global warming.)
If any of our old friends visit Zurich over the next few years, we'd love to get together.
