Walt Cummins

Then Now

Short Bio

I joined Anne Drazen's group, shortly after Wai Hom and John McCarthy, after a few years in the field organization. I've been in Lowell/Tewksbury ever since, building 1/2 dozen email systems and many email-related projects. Some of that was under Dana Khoyi. I just passed my 29th anniversary.

Stories and Anecdotes

Personally, I always enjoyed the 928 birthday parties, where the workstation fan blew out the candles on the cakes, and the "Aqua-928" (I can't remember the name used at the time) - the physical workstation shell enclosing a tropical fish tank. Truly, not all the creativity of that group went into software.
