A Family Affair?
For better or worse, manager-father, player-son teams are in it together. There are the somewhat tiresome claims of nepotism from those seeking to cause mischief. Sons have it rough in the league; Nigel Clough's manager father, Brian, refused to call the younger Clough by his first name, electing to refer to him as “our number 9” instead. Contrary to popular belief, fathers who manage their sons might actually treat them more harshly than the rest of the team. Manager fathers, it seems, may be far tougher on their offspring than they are on the majority of the team. Whether trying not to give too much leeway or trying not to crack down too hard, managers face a problematic conundrum.
Not that this will be a problem for Bob Bradley and his son Michael during this summer’s World Cup Finals in South Africa. One exception to the rule seems to be the Bradley family, US Coach Bob Bradley and his son Michael, who will compete in the World Cup Finals together this summer in South Africa.
When Michael Bradley was born in Princeton, New Jersey, his father was already the coach of Princeton University's soccer team. As a youngster, when Bob moved to Illinois to coach the Chicago Fire in the MLS, Michael was brought up in Palatine and at an early age, grew to love the game in the same way as his father.
After an impressive career in Junior leagues, Michael signed up with the MLS Superdraft in 2004 and was selected 36th overall by the New York Metrostars, who just so happened to be coached by his father. Michael's first professional season didn't turn out as planned when he suffered an awful foot injury, but his second year kicked off to a fantastic start for both of the Bradleys; Bob succeeded in leading his team to playoffs and Michael played in all but two of the games and headed his first goal to a shocked Chivas USA, securing a spot in the playoffs.
Bradley left the New York Metrostars in 2006, when he was sold to Holland's SC Heereveen after making an impression on an international scale. Bradley's success continued with Holland as he played well enough to land the team a place in the UEFA Cup and achieving an incredible 20 goals in the 2007-2008 season.
Bradley's success soon attracted the attention of bigger clubs wanting him in their soccer jersey, like Birmingham City, who wanted to sign Bradley but could not due to the relegation handed down from the Premier League. The midfielder was eventually chosen by Borussia Moenchengladbach, and has done well for the German team, playing in no less than 58 games and scoring seven goals for the team.
Michael Bradley's success so far exceeded expectations that most took it for granted that he would be promoted to the National Team (and he was). Bob Bradley began coaching the team in 2006, leading Michael to become the core of the US midfield, setting up plays so that offensive players such as Landon Donovan can exercise the freedom to get towards the goal.
The family connection will be central to the US team once again this summer and for both members of the Bradley family, it looks like being an African summer to remember, hopefully for the right reasons.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Macbook Pro 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Vs 2.66 GHz?
I don't know much about computers - I am considering buying a Macbook pro 15 inch. What is the difference between 2.53GHz Inter Core 2 Duo and 2.66 GHz? I "configured/priced" my own and the difference in price is +/- $250.00 for 2.66 GHz. Is it worth the price? what does it mean? What kind of difference will it do?
Main usage will be to play games like SimCity / CIV. Will also use it for work and to surf the net mainly. I was originally going to purchase a Sony Vaio but prefer Mac (no viruses) and I trust MAC over PC
Here are the specs of what I am considering buying:
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Thank you for your guidance, I really and truly appreciate it...
Answer:
2.53 ghz
4GB Memory
250GB hard drive
SD card slot
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
2.66 ghz
4GB memory
320GB hard drive
SD card slot
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
As you can see from the specs above, that extra $300 is for slightly faster CPU, bigger hdd, but most importantly a second GPU the 9600M GT. You can't use both GPUs at the same time, they are switchable.
A 9400M is probably enough for the games you play, look up benchies.
